See Boothbay by Water

Boothbay Harbor is one of Maine’s prettiest spots, but many visitors only experience it from land. On our tours, you will get the full view by cruising past lighthouses, islands, and fishing wharves, with the sea breeze in your face and the sun dancing on the water.

Want to learn more about the area as you go? We are happy to share stories and local history. Prefer a quiet ride with no talking, just views and vibes? We have got that too. This is your Boothbay Harbor boat tour, spend your way.

Perfect for Families, Couples, and Groups

Our tours are private, which means it’s just your group on the boat. No squeezing in with strangers or dealing with a packed schedule. We work with you to make the trip exactly what you want.

Families love to relax in the open space of our boat. Kids can spot seabirds or search for seals while adults kick back and take it all in. Couples enjoy our sunset rides for a romantic, picture-perfect moment on the water.

Custom Cruise Options

We keep it flexible. Want to add some light fishing to your tour? Let’s do it. Hoping for a slow scenic route around the harbor and nearby islands? We know all the best spots. Our boat is fully equipped for both sightseeing and low-key water activities, and we’re happy to mix things up.

The Boothbay Harbor boat tour typically runs 2 – 4 hours, but we can adjust based on what you are looking for. Morning tours offer calm waters and soft light. Evening tours bring cooler breezes and glowing sunsets.

FAQs

What kind of fish can we catch on a trip?
Depending on the season and location, you might catch striped bass, mackerel, pollock, or even the occasional bluefish. We will take you to the best local fishing spots and help you try different techniques. Whether you are a beginner or a serious angler, we’ll make sure you’ve got a fun and rewarding experience. Every day on the water is a little different, and that’s part of the adventure!

Can we bring alcohol on the boat?
Yes, responsible alcohol consumption is allowed for guests 21 and over. You are welcome to bring beer, wine, or other beverages, as long as they’re not in glass containers. We want everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, but safety comes first. If things get out of hand, the captain has the right to cut the trip short. So, bring a drink, enjoy the ride, and keep it chill. If you have more concerns about the tour, contact us.

What happens if we are running late?
We know there can be some bad circumstances that may cause you to be late. If you're running late, just give us a call or text as soon as you can. We will do our best to adjust your trip time, especially if we don’t have another group scheduled right after you. That said, late arrivals may shorten your tour length, especially during busy days. Communication is key, and we’ll always try to work with you.
