Our Private Boat Charters in Maine Have Something for Everyone
You don’t have to be a fisherman or a thrill-seeker to enjoy a boat charter. We welcome everyone—from families with young kids to couples celebrating something special, to solo travelers looking for a peaceful day on the water.
Want to Go Sightseeing with Fishing?
Absolutely!
If you're just looking to cruise around and enjoy the stunning coastal views, we're all for it. And if you want to try fishing for the first time with someone who will keep it relaxed and fun, that's us!
Our boat is comfortable, clean, and equipped for a variety of activities like light tackle fishing, wildlife watching, photography, and peaceful cruising. You will always be with a knowledgeable local guide who’s friendly, experienced, and tuned into your needs.
Seasonal Trips, Easy Booking
We run private boat charters for fishing from June through October, when the weather is perfect and the fish are biting. Going out in other months is possible, but it depends on weather and water conditions—just reach out and we’ll see what’s doable.
We recommend taking morning trips as they are great for early risers, while late-afternoon charters offer cooler temps and gorgeous golden-hour views.
Booking is easy through our website, and we are happy to answer questions by phone or email. We are also flexible on pickup spots. If you are staying somewhere with water access, we will do our best to meet you there.
Enjoy Your Trip with the People You Know
We don’t pack the boat with strangers, overload you with instructions, or rush you through a rigid schedule. We don’t expect you to be a pro or worry about bringing gear. What we do is create a relaxed, private experience where you can kick back, cast a line, or just take in the view. Whether you are with kids, friends, or flying solo, we handle the details, so you can focus on the fun. Because out here, it’s your time.
FAQs
What’s not allowed on the boat?
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that you leave behind glass containers, illegal substances, anything flammable, and loud music equipment like boom boxes. Smoking and vaping aren’t allowed on board either. We keep the boat clean, family-friendly, and safe for all guests, including kids and pets. If you’re unsure about bringing something, just ask! We are happy to give you a heads-up before your trip so there are no surprises.
Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, we provide U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets for everyone on board, including child-sized vests. It’s not just about regulations; it’s about keeping you safe and giving you peace of mind. Kids under 13 are required to wear them while the boat is moving, and we recommend adults keep theirs on, too. If you have your jacket you love, feel free to bring it, but we have got you covered either way.
Can we go swimming during the tour?
Swimming is allowed on the Build Your Own Adventure Package—if conditions are safe and it’s part of the plan. We will talk it through ahead of time to make sure the water's calm, the area’s safe, and everyone’s prepared. If you are hoping to swim, let us know when you book so we can suggest the best tour options and locations for a fun and safe dip.
